Easy Text Prompter is a fast and free application to display text on screen in a timed manner (like a teleprompter). This is handy for speeches, practicing for giving speeches, etc. You can also use this to read books without having to touch your phone to turn the page.

A few small modifications and you could turn that app into a karaoke app
add a few things like delays between letters and/or delays defined inside the text file and it could be handy for alot of other things too.
Good call, I’ve seen some teleprompter apps which do this and It shouldn’t be too difficult
