Who I am
In a nutshell, I'm a motorcycle driving, guitar playing, software writing computer scientist.
10-17-07 - I've updated the robotics section with some new C code. I re-wrote the laser pointer paint program (From SCI/Matlab to C/C++) and it's 10x faster!

Computer vision with scilab on ubuntu linux.
9-21-07 - I've started a new article series, part one is on the robotics page.
building an automated, web serving, home controlling, face detecting, linux server out of an old clamshell ibook and ~10$ worth of electronics.
9-23-07 - Site news, I've made a new section for robotics/computer vision and home automation projects.
9/12/2007 BIG NEWS! I've moved the old front page posts to page 2. So from now on you'll have 2 index pages to go through! Woot!
9/12/2007 - HOLD EVERYTHING!!! Wait, well not everything, but check it out. In the past 2 days I've received 3 emails from 3 individuals in 3 different countries asking about new features for Title Scroller. Seeing as I'm knee deep in a home automation project (I'll keep you posted, very cool, very hack), and with SSRSS being such a success on sourceforge, I'm going to open up the code to TitleScroller. So you can snag the source code here, or from the program archives tab above. Are there any enterprising programmers who want to spearhead the project on sourceforge? Shoot me an email!
One thing though.. please please do not use this to make an even more annoying brand of spyware. I turned down quite a chunk of $$ to do it before, and though it's been about 4 years, I still don't trust the internet.. So good karma people!
